Ithoughtiwasalone.com was born at the start of 2008, although I’d been thinking about it for a while.
I thought it was time to create an online platform for photographers who, while being very different, are united by a common starting point: to capture what surrounds their lives without worrying about the whats, the hows, and the whys.
Ithoughtiwasalone.com has no fixed rules, has no canons to follow, and is constantly evolving. There will be published portfolios as well as stand alone images.
Ithoughtiwasalone.com keeps it’s eyes on a new generation of photographers who are demonstrating all their worth, but are still not finding the exposure they deserve.
I thought I was alone, but maybe I am not.

Here’s a quick update, like I promised, just to let you all know that Serena Pezzato has been assisting me on this project. The massive increase of work after the “This Is All I Came To Do” show made me realized I needed to start looking for the help of some friendly hands, and Serena seems to be arrived at the perfect time.
Now we are alone, but together.

Ithoughtiwasalone.com nasce all’inizio del 2008 ma in realtà ci pensavo da un po’. Credevo fosse arrivato il momento di creare una piattaforma online in cui dare spazio a fotografi che sono anche molto diversi fra loro, ma che hanno un comune punto di partenza: ritrarre ciò che circonda le loro vite senza curarsi di cosa come e perché.
Ithoughtiwasalone.com non ha regole precise, non detta canoni da seguire ed è in continua evoluzione. Verranno pubblicati sia progetti che immagini singole.
Ithoughtiwasalone.com ha un occhio di riguardo per una nuova generazione di fotografi italiani e non, che stanno dimostrando tutto il loro valore, ma che ugualmente stentano a trovare lo spazio che meritano.
Pensavo di essere solo, ma forse non lo sono.
Per ora è tutto, vi terrò aggiornati.

Come avevo promesso vi tengo aggiornati e comunico l’affiancamento da parte di Serena Pezzato in questo progetto. L’ aumento di lavoro in seguito alla mostra “This Is All I Came To Do” mi ha portato alla ricerca di due braccia “amiche”, e Serena sembrerebbe essere arrivata in modo naturale e semplice al momento giusto.
Ora siamo soli in compagnia.
Anche stavolta e’ tutto, vi terremo aggiornati.
